In the style of my favourite 9th Cen. Chinese funerary jars. A nice accent piece for the kitchen counter or mantel. Equally at home holding cookies or tea bags.
Hand thrown in our Mahone Bay studio using a local earthenware clay. Hand painted underglaze decoration on a white clay slip background, then covered with a pale transparent yellow glaze. The jar is 10-1/2” tall.
